Your customer portal
Every booking on one calendar
Every day your dog is booked in, past and upcoming. Your regular days are already in there. Tap Create a booking to ask for an extra day, and you get a notification on your phone the moment we approve it.
Talk to the team, and to your driver on the day
Anything you need to tell us goes in one thread we can both see, instead of texts and WhatsApps to different phones. On the days your dog is booked in, the driver on your route is in that thread too.

Photos from the woodland and a report card, saved on your dog's profile alongside their vaccination dates and care notes.
Invoices that pay themselves
One Direct Debit through GoCardless, set up once. Every invoice stays in the portal with the PDF to download, and you can see at a glance what is paid.
Your details, kept current
Your contact details, emergency contacts and your dog's records, updated by you and seen by the team the moment you save.

Our own daycare staff do the driving. On the morning of a booked day, the driver on your route joins your thread in the portal alongside the team. Running late, a new gate code, a dog at the neighbour's, a bag of food to bring in. Type it once and the driver sees it on the run, and the office sees it too.
Drivers only hear from the families on that day's route, and your conversation with the team carries on in the same thread as normal.
Add it to your phone
Open the portal in Safari or Chrome, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens like an app from then on and you get notifications for confirmations and messages, without installing anything.
First time here?
Every customer has been sent a sign up link by email. Your details, your dog's details and your emergency contacts are already in the portal, so you only need to set a password. If you cannot find the email, call 07731 798 899 or email info@duncansdogco.com and we will send it again.

The portal runs on Genera, the dog daycare software we built at Duncan's Dog Co. Jess and Duncan started it to run this daycare, and it now runs bookings, invoicing, drivers and messaging for daycares, dog walkers, groomers and boarding kennels across the UK.
If you spot something that could be better, tell us. Your portal runs on the same software as every other business using Genera, so anything you report gets fixed for all of them.
Questions about the portal
Do I need to download an app?
No. The portal works in any browser on your phone or computer. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app, with notifications, and there is nothing to install.
Can I message the driver at any time?
You can message the daycare team at any time. Your driver joins the thread on the days your dog is booked in, so the note goes to the person actually on your route that day. On other days it goes to the office.
Who sees my messages?
The Duncan's Dog Co. team, and on booked days the driver on your route. Every reply is signed by the person who sent it, so you always know who you are talking to.
I am not a customer yet. Can I see the portal?
The portal is for families whose dogs come to the woodland. Once your dog has done their meet and greet and trial day, we send you a sign up link and your details are already in there.
