Growing up, Duncan's mum's best friend was a German Shepherd trainer, so he was always surrounded by incredible dogs. He was known as the 'crazy dog man' — and that early connection turned into a lifelong passion and a business he's proud of.
About Us · Cobham, Surrey
Woodland dog daycare in Cobham, with safe collection across Surrey and South West London since 2011.
About Duncan's Dog Co.
Duncan's Dog Co. was founded in 2011 by Duncan and Jess. The DDC journey began simply, walking the dogs of South West London and spending their days on Wimbledon Common fulfilling their outdoorsy dream.
After some time, it became apparent that there were very few facilities in the UK offering genuine quality care within a secure, enriching environment. That gap inspired them to set out on a mission to develop a daycare environment like no other.
Over the years, their children Harley and Ayda have been part of the journey too, helping to care for the dogs at every opportunity and creating a truly special bond between their family and the dogs who are part of DDC.
What they have achieved could not have been done without their dedicated team of staff. Read below to meet the integral members of the DDC family.

The Team
Most of the team have been with us for years. They know the dogs by name, by habit and by personality.

Jess grew up surrounded by German Shepherds and horses, which sparked a lifelong love for animals. That passion has shaped the way she connects with and cares for every dog at Duncan's.

After years in events and a stint running a brand roadshow for Nestle Purina, Becks discovered her love for working with dogs and went on to study canine behaviour. She joined DDC in its early days — back when it was just a field and some waterproofs — and has helped shape everything since.

Nick describes working at DDC as owning 100 dogs — but getting to give them back at the end of the day. He grew up with Border Collies and loves the connections he builds with dogs and their owners out in the woodland.

Kelly joined as Grooming Manager ten years ago, bringing nearly 20 years of grooming expertise. She now runs operations as Company Secretary — one of the longest-serving and most integral members of the DDC family.

Eleanor runs the PUP programme and has spent four years watching puppies arrive nervous and leave confident. She knows every pup's personality and finds it genuinely rewarding to be part of their development.

Michaela has been at DDC for six years and loves every day of it. She builds real relationships with every dog and every owner — and you may well recognise her from the DDC TikTok.

Holly grew up with a Springer Spaniel called Peppa and has always loved dogs. She manages all boarding at DDC, making sure every overnight guest feels completely at home — and she'll tell you it's nothing like a typical 9-5.

Becky joined in June 2024 and covers the Earlsfield area. She has a Spaniel of her own, so she knows exactly what makes them tick — and she's built brilliant relationships with her dogs and their owners along the way.

Carlton spends his time off exploring woods and parks on his mountain bike with his dog — so working at DDC is a natural fit. He doesn't have a favourite breed; every dog has a different personality and he loves them for it.

Laura joined in April 2025 and has embraced every part of the role. She grew up with a Border Collie and more recently a Golden Retriever — dogs have always been a big part of her life, and working with them every day is something she genuinely loves.

Our standards
Premium care should still feel personal, grounded and honest.
No breed discrimination. We look at the individual dog, their temperament and whether daycare is right for them.
Sleepovers are designed around familiar care and known dogs, not rows of runs or a kennel block.
The team supports families across weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and busy seasons.
Routes are planned carefully from Cobham across selected local catchment areas.
Puppies get gentle introductions, age-appropriate socialisation and steady support as they develop.
We keep owners in the loop and encourage honest questions about behaviour, routines and fit.
